Q: How does the rush process work?
A: We will set up several events for you to
come out and meet the Rho Gamma brothers.
After that, we will give you a call and let you
know what step is next in the rush process.
Q: How much are dues?
A: Dues for pledges are around $350, and for
brothers they are $225.
Q: What are some of the activities you do?
A: We do many events in several different areas such as: Professional Development, Community Service, Social, and Fundraising. For Professional Developement, we hold tours of various engineering facilities, and also hold mock interviews for our brothers and pledges. Some of our community service projects include Lockheed Day of Caring, Relay for Life, and the road and pond cleanup programs. We have an annual alumni event as well as socials throughout the semester. We have held a golf tournament and carwashes in the past for fundrasing events.
Q: Do you haze?
A: Absolutely not. Our entire national fraternity has a strict anti-hazing policy.
Q: Where do dues go?
A: Part of our dues go towards paying national dues to the national part of the fraternity. The other portion goes toward the semester budget to have social events, make t-shirts, purchase study materials and take trips.
Q: Do you have a house?
A: At this point in time, no. We are a young chapter, so we have not had time yet to raise funds and build the proper alumni base required for such an expense.
Q: What amount of time is required of me during the pledge semester?
A: We won't lie to you, pledging is a time intensive activity. However, we are all firm believers of what you put into something is what you get out of it. You may ask any of our brothers if it has been worth their time being a part of our chapter.
